"Emotions outlast memory. One moment of joy or connection can make someone’s day.”
Jet Howell
Hi, I'm Jet Howell
Founder of Jet's Assisted Living and Memory Care Placement
This is my Story
I am deeply motivated by a commitment to serve older adults and their families during one of life’s most challenging transitions. Helping a loved one move into assisted living or memory care is never easy—especially when it happens suddenly, following a fall, hospitalization, or medical crisis. These moments are emotionally charged, overwhelming, and often leave families feeling uncertain and alone. My mission is to ease that burden. I offer compassionate, no-cost guidance to help you make informed, confident decisions. I walk beside families every step of the way—offering professional insight, emotional support, and local expertise—to ensure your loved one transitions to a safer, more supportive home. To care for those who once cared for us is not only a responsibility—it is one of life’s greatest honors. I do this work because it matters. Families deserve peace of mind. Seniors deserve dignity, respect, and the best quality of life possible.
Local Knowledge That Makes a Difference
Having worked across Sonoma and Marin Counties, I understand the strengths, culture, and care styles of local communities. I know how to quickly identify the right match based on your loved one’s care needs, preferences, and personality. I’ve helped families secure last-minute placements, arranged same-day tours, and transitioned clients from rehab to a new home in as little as two days—all with compassion and precision. My passion for senior care is rooted in personal experience. I have cared for my grandparents and other family members living with dementia and Parkinson’s disease. I know firsthand the emotional toll and urgency that come with finding a safe, appropriate senior living solution.
Professional Experience & Expertise
With over a decade of experience in the senior care field, I bring a uniquely qualified perspective to this work. My background includes roles as:
A professional care partner for seniors with dementia
A certified engagement coordinator for an Alzheimer’s Day Program
A healthcare professional and spiritual director
A marketing and sales director for senior living communities
This broad experience gives me insight into all levels of care—from Independent Living and Assisted Living to Memory Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF).
I am proud to hold the following credentials:
Certified Dementia Care Specialist
Licensed RCFE Administrator (California Department of Social Services)
Certified Activity Leader
Licensed Health Insurance Consultant for Seniors
A+ Accredited Business – Better Business Bureau
These qualifications allow me to expertly advocate for your family—even after move-in—should care or service concerns arise. I can also assist with Medicare-related paperwork, and physician documentation (like the 602 form), ensuring that all administrative needs are handled efficiently.
